A Canandian Coast Guard Passenger approved vessel, the replica Tall Ship H.M.S. Detroit is a 3 mast, 207' (sparred length) square rig. The Detroit is a fully operational auxiliary powered ship rigged sailing vessel. She is a modified reconstruction of the original H.M.S. Detroit built for the Royal Navy at the Amherstburg (Ontario) Dockyard in 1812. Canada's Flag Ship will have passenger capacity for up to 110 persons.
