Mission Statement
It is the Project's
intent to bring to
life the role of the
ship, H.M.S. DETROIT,
in a war that was
significant in the
development of two
great nations --Canada
and the United States.
Project Objectives
- to build and maintain a full-size sailing replica of H.M.S. Detroit;
- to display and interpret the history of the ship for education and enjoyment;
- to undertake research on all aspects of H.M.S. Detroit;
- to make, commission, publish, distribute, publicize and sell all such products and services to support these aims.
