Your membership ensures that our organizations missions and objectives are heard by all levels of Government and Corporations that share our vision in historic preservation and education. Membership Matters! Together we represent strength in numbers, a unified voice, and a credible presence.

Grateful thanks are due to the many members, Patrons, and "Life Members" who annually make "Top Up" donations to their membership. The cost of maintaining membership is ever rising. H.M.S. Detroit Membership Chair keeps an ongoing record of these generous gifts in order that special recognition can be made upon the launch of member's discounts program when H.M.S. Detroit sets sail.

H.M.S. Detroit is always seeking to increase membership, to strengthen its influence when making representation for funding. Any help existing members can give in this respect, by recruiting colleagues to the ranks, is most welcome.

Ships Store Discounts

Currently member discounts are offered for the purchase of select merchandise in the "Ship's Store" online or in person at Historic Gordon House. All proceeds from the Ship's Store go to the construction of H.M.S. Detroit. Once H.M.S. Detroit sets sail, member discounts will be available for dockside activities, banquets, special events and sail adventures.
